Feature request: openmediavault-nut Ability to change settings in upsd.conf

My UPS (a Powerwalker VI2200LCD) requires that a parameter "MAXAGE 100" be set in upsd.conf. Is there any way that a feature could be added to the NUT plugin to allow tweaking the contents of upsd.conf, please?

In the NUT plugin window there should be a field with at least to entries:

driver = ...
port = ...

What happens if you add this new line and safe the configuration?

MAXAGE = 100

In my current configuration I had to add:

pollintervall = 10

It would be added to ups.conf rather than to upsd.conf.

You can customize the value via the environment variable OMV_NUT_UPSD_MAXAGE in /etc/default/openmediavault.

After adding the variable to /etc/default/openmediavault execute the following commands:

# omv-mkconf nut
# systemctl restart nut-server

Thanks for this. That does exactly what I want and will ensure my config changes don't get overwritten (so long as /etc/default/openmediavault is safe from being overwritten).
