Error updating dnsmasq-base 2.76-5+rpi1

  • Ok, i'm trying to get dnsmasq-base 2.76-5+rpi1 installed on my OMV version 3.0.99 but its giving me an error and i can't fix it.

    Can somebody tell me what i can do? Or is it wiser to reinstall?

    Did you change your sources.list file? Post the output of:

    cat /etc/apt/sources.list
    cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/*

    omv 7.0.4-2 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.5 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.10 | compose 7.1.2 | k8s 7.0-6 | cputemp 7.0 | mergerfs 7.0.3

    Your sources look fine. Looking at the Debian package search, the dnsmasq-base package doesn't exist in Debian Jessie. Why are you trying to install it instead of dnsmasq?

    I guess my previous query was wrong. Weird. But the fact that the package has rpi in the version means it is probably from the raspbian repo and you no longer have that repo in your sources. So, it can't update. You must have used one of the old raspbian based OMV RPi images instead of the newer armbian based images?

  • I've used this image: OMV_3_0_99_RaspberryPi_2_3_4.9.80.img.xz

    The system (Raspberry pi 3 model b) was working almost flawless for a couple of weeks (and no updates were visible) befor i went tinkering

    Zitat

    I was trying to get Pi-hole working besides my OMV install, which worked until i upgraded dnsmasq with the help of this website: pi-hole.net/2018/02/14/pi-hole…leased-its-extra-special/

    Can i add that repo somehow?

    That image should have an armbian list and raspberrypi.org list. Add them as root with:

    echo "deb https://archive.raspberrypi.org/debian/ jessie main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/raspberry.list
    echo "deb http://apt.armbian.com jessie utils" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/armbian.list
    apt-get update
