Network-manager

  • Hello there,


    I have some problems with VPN and torguard support ask me to update result:


    root@nas-robert:~# apt-get install network-manager
    Reading package lists... Done
    Building dependency tree
    Reading state information... Done
    network-manager is already the newest version (1.6.2-3).
    0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.


    They ask me to install :


    https://packages.debian.org/sid/network-manager


    But .... apt not allow that

    Omv-extra's installed: Yes
    Version omv: 1.+
    Server specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4430 CPU @ 3.00GHz , Kingston ValueRAM 8GB 1600Mhz , Asus H87I-PLUS - Moederbord
    Hdd's: 2x 3TB WD , 1x 1TB WD , os 40GB SSD Kingston
    Owner of : Nodlan.nl

    Installing network-manager is a bad idea since OMV manages the network settings. Installing packages from sid is generally a bad idea as well.
