Hi,
This is my first post here, excuse me for being a noob and I did search for this question
I've wanted to set up a NAS storage device for home lab. I have Hyper-V 2016 on my HP Microserver which is managed the user interface of my other Microserver running Server 2016.
I've set up a new VM with 4Gb of disk space and installed OMV without any issues. This boots up ok and I can see the web based user interface all nicely on my laptop.
Hyper-V is a bit different from VMware ESXi as it supports pass thru disks. I have a spare 500gb hard disk I sent up as a pass thru disk in Hyper-V, its already made offline from the host operating system.
So the drive recognised by OMV. When I go to create a volume, the dropdown box here gets stuck so its not letting me create anything. I've tried rebooting OMV and the whole host too.
Is using OMV under Virtualisation not supported, or is this too much of an unorthodox system I'm using to create my set up?
My goal is set this up maybe as iSCSI and have a storage place for my databases.
I'm using 4.1.3 64 bit.
