    • Issue with raid/file system after Upgrade from 3 to 4

After upgrading from OMV3 to OMV 4 my raid array was missing. I feared the worst and thought that my data was lost. But after having looked at (probably) every entry in this forum about raid I was at least able to somehow get the array mounted back and have access to my files again, but the configuration in OMV is screwed up

When I go to tab file systems (attached)...When I want to edit a shared folder for instance (attached)

The files I messed with I guess are the obvious ones (attached).

I have tried everything I can on my own...can anybody help me please?

      Thanks

      Ami

    • There are other users with the same problem. Seems to be that some installations have a problem with MDADM RAIDs after switching from Debian 8 to Debian 9. In most cases the users have reinstalled OMV3, created a backup of the RAID data, installed OMV4, erased the old RAID and recreated it again. The problem is that the Debian 9 kernel or userland can't indentify the filesystem on the RAID.
