      Hallo Jungs,

      Hello guys,

I have a question about Samba.
I have bought new Sonos speakers and want to integrate my NAS server as a network drive in the Sonos app.
Unfortunately, the Sonos app only allows "smb v1" to log in and my NAS is running version 4.5.12 Debian.
Thus, a registration is not possible.

Is it possible to run several Samba versions in parallel?

No but you don't need to. samba 4.5 still supports smb1. You probably just need to change the authentication method by adding ntlm auth = yes to the extra options of the samba settings tab. Just remember that these protocols shouldn't be used because they are insecure.
