Query on overriding plugin defaults

    • OMV 3.x
    • There are OMV Environment Variables that possibly may allow control of the settings you want to manipulate. And there used to be a web page that listed them all. But this page has gone missing, and my two attempts at asking what happened to the page have been viewed 168 times but gone unanswered.

However, below is from sshd_config(5) and indicates how to enable/disable ciphers. I see nothing in the default OMV sshd_config enabling or disabling any of these, so AFAIK the defaults are used, and you should be able to manipulate these via Extra Options. Have you tried this yet?

      Source Code

      1. Ciphers
      2. Specifies the ciphers allowed. Multiple ciphers must be comma-
      3. separated. If the specified value begins with a `+' character,
      4. then the specified ciphers will be appended to the default set
      5. instead of replacing them. If the specified value begins with a
      6. `-' character, then the specified ciphers (including wildcards)
      7. will be removed from the default set instead of replacing them.
      8. The supported ciphers are:
      9. 3des-cbc
      10. aes128-cbc
      11. aes192-cbc

      15. aes256-ctr
      16. aes128-gcm@openssh.com
      17. aes256-gcm@openssh.com

      20. arcfour256
      21. blowfish-cbc
      22. cast128-cbc
      23. chacha20-poly1305@openssh.com
