Hi all,
I am trying to figure out the best way to setup a OMV server with a Ryzen 5 2400G and a MSI X470 Gaming Pro.
There are three things I would like to achieve:
- Openmedivault
- VDR server
- Virtual Box running Windows 10
I know I can install the default OMV Image and add the two plugins for VDR and Virtual BOX -the question I have. Is this the best way of doing it?
Is the default Kernel supporting my HW in the most efficient way? Or should I compile one by myself?
Should I run all services on the base system - or should i run VDR and OMV also in a virtual machine (not sure if Virtuall BOX supports running three VMs at once and if the HW can cope with it)?
I know Docker would also be an alternative ?
