Hi guys, I'm moving with my torrent machine to a OMV. I've already checked a lot of things I need in a VM but I've got a few questions.
- I'm going to use software raid 1 with encryption. If OMV fails or something like that can I slap the drives to an other linux machine and unlock the drives?
- How does the encryption work (using the plugin from OMV-extras). Is it similar to VeraCrypt which I'm using now (NTFS encrypted drives)?
- How safe is the encryption?
- Is there a way to backup a whole drive with the OMV different than using Clonezilla?
