Add drives from other OMV installation to new OMV installation

    I am trying to install a drive which I used for storage in another omv installation to a new one without wiping the data. I have to do this coz the old one had a cant access tty problem which I could find any solutions to.
    HOW do I do it? PLS HELP.


    The installation is on a usb and the hdd with the data is an external HDD.


    If nothing else is there a way access this drive in windows so I can pull the data off it?

    Do you see it in the web ui? Storage > Disks If so click mount.


    If not do you see the disk in fdisk -l? If not check cables etc. If you see it add it to ?etc/fstab.

    If you make it idiot proof, somebody will build a better idiot.
