Hi!
My current setup is 4 x 6TB in a RAID5 setup. My plan was to add 4 more disks and then change it to 8x6TB in RAID6.
My question is which way is the fasted? (I do have all of my data backed up on a separate server)
1. Erase the current RAID 5 and then re-create a new RAID 6 with all the disks
2. Start with adding one disk and change from RAID5 to RAID6 and then add the other 3 disks?
My system is running OMV4
Suggestions?
