Create new shared folder on new filesystem error

  • Hello,

I am trying to create a new shared folder on a new file system. The new filesystem is already mounted and when I try to save the change I get the error attached that seems to have nothing to do with the action I am trying to take. I am trying to make a shared folder called SSD_VMs, so I am not sure why the error is referencing the TVShows folder, which is on a different set of disks.

  • I ran the following command "systemctl cat sharedfolders-TVShows.mount" and it returned the following which is pointing to a usb drive that is no longer connected. How do I remove the association to /srv/dev-disk-by-label-Data/TVShows as that disk is no longer connected to the system?

I did attach the USB drive back to the system but it got a new drive id of /dev/sdh. Can I set it back to its old ID to fix things?
