    • Update: long error text [OMV 3.0.99 on OrangePi ZeroPlus Linux 4.14.70-sunxi64 Armbian 5.60 stable]

      Dear all,

It seems that OMV 3.0.99 runs properly on my OangePI ZeroPlus (Armbian 5.60 stable). But: when I launch 'Update Management' > 'Updates' > 'Check', under 'Error' the following long text occurs.

Anyhow, OMV seems to run properly. Thus, the long error text is confusing:

      Any hints?

Apart from that: should I go for a newer OMV, or a newer Armbian+OMV image?

Thanks in advance, and kind regards,

    • Hi @tkaiser,

Thanks for your quick response ... as usual ... and clear recommendation.

Yesterday, I did a new install (flash) of OMV 4.X + Armbian on the OrangePi Zero Plus, using your image OMV_4_Orange_Pi_Zero_Plus.img.xz, after several issues that occured subsequent to 'omv-release-upgrade'.

The new installation has worked fine, including all available updates on the OrangePi (ARMBIAN 5.60 stable Debian GNU/Linux 9 (stretch) 4.14.70-sunxi64) as well as in OMV (4.1.11). Both OMV-Extras 'Remotemount' (Options: _netdev,iocharset=utf8,vers=1.0,nofail) and 'MiniDLNA' are running properly.

Additionally, this approach has solved several issues that affected my Pioneer A/V receiver VSX-S520D, which had not been able to find (see) the music server MiniDLNA, or 'lost' it after a while (means: the music server MiniDLNA disappeared, from the perspective of the A/V receiver).

Up to now OMV / MiniDLNA 'runs like a charm'.

      Reagrds,
