I assume with "already wiped" you mean you have done it by the button in the GUI of OMV.
Did you have ZFS on the drives (e.g from previous use with other NAS systems).
If yes, search the forum for "wipefs" and you fill find some threads how to deal with it.
Another question would be, if you really want/need a RAID.
Again, search the forum for "RAID is not backup"
I cannot wipe under OMV that's why I used the dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=512 count=1 command.
No success.
The wipefs /dev/sdb (c,d) command lists nothing . i think no fs signature found.
No luck with the other system (J1900 cpu) Q1900 mainboard.
Previously I used xpenology NAS os.
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=512 count=1
The count=1 makes no sense what's the output of wipefs -n /dev/sda
0x1fe dos
That's all
Paste the full output into the code option on the menu bar...that tells us nothing.
Hello,
Here is the screenshot.
Ok there is partition table on that drive. What is the output of blkid with all drives connected, do any drives display in Storage>>>Disks
Hello,
I did a full wipe again and everything works flawlessly.
Thanks for your help.
