access with SSH

Hey Guys,
ich have an little Problem, I can't go to the DEBIAN to change it to OMV.

i come with SSH to my Account on the Debian, but I can't go in to the root! It always says its the wrong Passwort.
but its the right one

any Ideas what im doing wrong?

Logging in via ssh as root is generally disabled by default. You can log in as an ordinary user and su to root instead.

If you still wish to be able to login to ssh as root, once you have become root via su or sudo you can edit the file

/etc/ssh/sshd_config and set a line like so:

PermitRootLogin yes

Then restart sshd
