Oh.. so there are just 2 options, install OMV 3.0 or use downloader plugin for torrents?
Unofficial Plugin Repo for 0.5 Sardaukar, 1.0 Kralizec, 2.0 Stoneburner, 3.0 Erasmus, 4.0 Arrakis

Or Docker to run transmission in a container.
-
Never heard of Docker, i'd check it out, thanks for fast response

This might be a good starting point
OMV + Docker plugin media server (Plex, PlexPy, Ombi, Libresonic, NZBGet, ruTorrent, Sonarr, Radarr, Mylar, and more) -
Just to get clear answer. Will the transmission plugin be ported to omv 4 or not?

Probably nobody can answer this. Few devs are working on plugins. Right now it is probably more or less only ryecoaaron. As I understood, he will not port the transmission plugin to OMV4. But if somebody else (you?) will do it, then there might be one in the future.

Okay. That could be a interesting project.
Update:
Now I have looked at it and I actually don't think it has to be rewritten. Just updated.
I took the old version 3.0.9 transmission plugin and installed it on the new OMV 4 and I was able to use it without any problems. So far i can tell.It could be put in to the test repo.

It could be put in to the test repo.
This is the feedback I need a lot of times In the regular repo now (OMV 4.x is really testing anyway).

Any hope to see the Deluge and Sonarr plug-in for OMV4? I tried even with testing report but I can't find them

I'm not an OMV developer, and I can't and won't speak for those who are.
But my feeling is that it will be highly unlikely that there will be Sonarr or Radarr plugins for OMV 4.0. I'm thinking the reliance on Mono by these programs would have a lot to do with any decision not to provide these plugins.
Not sure about the prospect for a Deluge plugin, and the lack of one didn't hurt me. I just installed the few Deluge components I needed by hand. I already had a working configuration left over from OMV 2 and 3 upgrades to OMV 4, so there was nothing for me to do after the installation. It just works.
I looked at a few Deluge dockers, but they were not flexible enough for my needs.
My use of Sonarr's capabilities is very minimal and I do not use it to initiate any downloads. I use it mainly for the calendar function and to keep track of all my shows and episodes. A Sonarr docker works well enough for that purpose.
-
I used Sonarr with Deluge, and that couple was great. Sonar started every download and also managed them after they were finished.
I can install Deluge and Sonarr by myself, but I prefer using plug-in since they handle the creation of the daemon and the user.
-
The idea is to reduce the amount of plugins, because there is a lack of dev resources. Especially those than don’t provide more than an enable/disable checkbox like the ones you mention. Docker is the way to go. There are plenty of images now for x86 and arm.
-
I never used docker.. Can Deluge and Sonarr interact with each other if I install them using docker? And can I make them Daemon that will start at boot?
-
Docker containers can be set to start at boot, no problem. And with some setup I don't see why they can't interact with other containers - there wouldn't be much of a future for them if they couldn't.

A little self-promotion. Deluge is not covered there specifically, but you'll be able to use the templates in that thread to figure out Deluge easily enough. As long as both containers have access to the same directories, they'll be able to work together with no problem.

I'm running OMV 4.1.4-1 and installed omv-extras as instructed per webuinterface using "openmediavault-omvextrasorg_latest_all4.deb".
It is installes / enabled but after a refresh the plugin list still shows none of the extras plugins. apt clean also not help. -
Have you cleared your browser cache? What specific plugins are you looking for?
-
Yes, I have cleared the browser cache. I would like to install the flashmemory plugin.
-
What is the output of the apt clean button in the omv-extras tab in the web interface?
