bus these are wrong!!! how i need to edit them????
They dont work!!
-
How did you copy the commands? Directly from the post or did you click the small icon with two sheets in the top right corner of the posts (copy content)?
Also make sure to copy the commands only from this one post for OMV4. It seems that you have mixed the commands with some other guides. This is just my guess why karlizec was there in the sources list.
-
karlizec is in this post!!!!!
its there
i copied with the button...
i will reformat and do it asap but i dont believe will work without your magic command...
-
karlizec is in this post!!!!!
here is the first command to execute without the lines that are commented (with "#")
Codecat <<EOF >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public arrakis main EOF
no kralizec added to the sources list. No idea how it ended up in yours.
i will reformat and do it asap
Good luck
We (me or others) will be here if something goes wrong -
you are GREAT i have no words to say really!!!!
Only this I execute???
nothing else??? im confused
these two
- cat <<EOF >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
- deb http://packages.openmediavault.org/public arrakis main
- EOF
and this :
apt-get --yes --auto-remove --show-upgraded --allow-downgrades --allow-change-held-packages --no-install-recommends --option Dpkg::Options::="--force-confdef" --option DPkg::Options::="--force-confold" install openmediavault-keyring openmediavault
only?
in complete new installation of debian ?? (by the way which distribution is better for OMV??) debian 9 is ok?? i can select many other if is better
-
Debian 9 is fine. Are there different Debian 9 versions?
May be the version you have used already had the openmediavault sources list. When you have a fresh Debian try
cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
It should not show anything.
Then you need to run all the commands form the link. When it comes to line 7 of the second box you can use this one instead:
apt-get --yes --auto-remove --show-upgraded --allow-downgrades --allow-change-held-packages --no-install-recommends --option Dpkg::Options::="--force-confdef" --option DPkg::Options::="--force-confold" install postfix openmediavault-keyring openmediavault
I just added postfix again as in the original command.

thank you!!!
so i dont have to # the kralizec??? i just copy them as they are?
thank you!!!
* i have an issue with the disk... would you mind have a quick look :()) new installation problem
-
so i dont have to # the kralizec
kralizec should not be there; if it is delete the line or # them
-
so in new debian i do this (i think you should post this as new thread - many people will bless you
cat <<EOF >> /etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list
