    • Helios4 shared folder paths

Hi everyone, I am using a Helios4 (click here) which is ARM-based board running Armbian 5.68 with a single 1TB hard disk drive.

I installed OMV using Softy from the armbian-config command. I have formatted my drive and mounted an ext4 filesystem.

If I use the df commmand, I get the following line (among others):

Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
      /dev/sda1 960380628 12513916 947850328 2% /srv/dev-disk-by-label-main

So it looks like my partition is mounted.

My issue is this: I have enabled and configured the Transmission and MiniDLNA plugins from OMV, and both have permissions problems and don't work properly.

I can fix them both by going into /etc/minidlna.conf and /etc/transmission-daemon/settings.json and replacing "/srv/dev-disk-by-label-main" with "/sharedfolders"

However, when I apply settings from OMV, my changes are overwritten, and the apps break again.

I'm not sure what the relationship between /sharedfolders and /srv/dev-disk-by-label-main is. The contents of both are the same, but I don't think either is a symlink.

      Any suggestions?

EDIT: Here are the permissions of both directories

      drwxr-xr-x 6 root root 4096 Jan 11 06:20 sharedfolders
      drwxrws---+ 7 root users 4096 Jan 11 06:16 dev-disk-by-label-main
