After a reboot i lost my eth0

Hello,

After a restart of the server eth0 has disappeared.

ifconfig does not show eth0
ifconfig eth0 up -> "ERROR while getting interface flags"
omv-firstaid -> "ERROR with status 3"
dhclient eth0 -> "can not find device eth0"

Can you help me please ?

happened to me also.

I edited my /etc/network/interfaces to look like this and all is good for now.

auto eth0 allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 inet dhcp
