Hello guys,
i'm thinking about upgrade my nas.
Currently i tried to build a nas with a raspberry pi 3 b+, but the speed limit without real gigabit speed & limitation on usb3.0 is annoying.
I use a 4TB WD Red in a USB3.0 Enclosure and want to backup this drive ~every week on another wd red 4TB.
Mostly i use the NAS for Streaming movies over DLNA, using jDownloader and setting up my personal cloud.
Maybe im planning to add some smart home functions.
So the nas is running nearly 24/7 and i want a low power-consume nas, so i think a SoC would be the best option.
When searching for different boards, the internet is full of them, but i ended up with this three boards.
Maybe someone give me a hint, which board should i choose, or even another one??
- i want to plug 2 x USB3.0 drives (in self powered cases)
- i dont want to have the system on sd card, so i think about an ssd (maybe m.2) over a usb3.0 port
- I only need gigabit ethernet and USB3.0, i dont care on wlan, bluetooth, infrared and that stuff
Sry for my english, hope you understand everthing and can help me
