No the OS is on a single drive SSD.

Ok. Boot into the 4.14 kernel and do the following

    update-initramfs -u -k all
    update-grub

Then try one of the 4.19 kernels.

    Now none of them boots.

That shouldn't have broken anything and means something else is very broken. Your 4.14 kernel just hadn't been updated. Does it show any errors? Otherwise, I have no guesses.

What can I do now when I cant access shell?

Boot a Debian 9 iso and enter rescue mode.

  • Last thing i see is "loading initial ramdisk" then instant reboot.

Anyways, im in rescue mode right now. No idea how this works, just install using Rescue mode? (just afraid of messing up my raid)

Or should i just reinstall the OS? I run dockers so all the appdata is still there so just minor settings to redo in the webgui. Mabye refrain from doing apt upgrade? I just like to be on the latest

Being in rescue mode should allow you to look at the boot logs.

    Might be easier.

I don't and have never had this problem. Without the logs, I can't speculate on what happened.
