Cannot connect to SMB-Share via Windows 10 Pro

    Hi There,


    I really hope you can help me. Im going be crazy... ?(?(


    I got an new Windows 10 PRO Dell Latitude and i cant connect to the SMB-Share. I have already read about tousend Threads in tousend Boards but it already wont work. I have already turn on SMB1/CIFS. On my second Computer running Windows 10 HOME the SMB-Share works really fine....


    Does anyone have an idea why the hell Windows 10 PRO have a problem with SMB-Shares?

    The OMV server short cut, for a Win10 client, in the How-To works for most cases. For tough cases, the LmCompatibilityLevel registry key works.


    - Have you tried lowering the LmCompatibilityLevel to 3 or even 1, as a test? (After this change is made, a reboot is recommended.)
    - Have you tried connecting to SMB with the firewall off? (Just for a test.)

    The problem, in your case, may be Dell's modifications to a standard Win10 install. As a M$ partner they put add-on's in a Win10 install, in some cases, for "extra security". If the above suggestions don't work, I might look at Dell or Dell partner software add-on's such as a "firewall" or an "internet protection suite" and consider turning them off, temporarily, for a test.

    Microsoft sagt hier nur, "Auf \\192.168.1.219 konnte nicht zugegriffen werden" Die Log spuckt hier nur Fehlercode 0x80004005 aus.

    MS is just saying "Cannot connect to \\192.168.1.219" with an Errorcode: Unknown Error 0x80004005

    Der Ping geht sowohl mit dem Hostname als auch mit der IP-Adresse. Net View sagt:" Systemfehler 53 - Der Netzwerkpfad wurde nicht gefunden"


    Ganz komisch...

    Hast du Zugriff auf die ssh oder shellinabox. Wenn ja was zeigt


    smbclient -L \\<server> -U <benutzername>

    OMV 3.0.99 (ERASMUS). Never change a running system. If you do it anyway, better you have a backup. :D

    Ich muss dazu sagen, dass es ganz sicher ein Windows 10 PRO Thema sein muss, da der Zugriff über das Windows 10 Home vom zweiten Rechner aus prima funktioniert.

    Ich würde mir mehr Dell-Änderungen an Win10 ansehen als die Unterschiede zwischen Win10 Home und Win10 Pro. In Win10 Enterprise und der Education Edition gibt es im Vergleich zu Consumer-Versionen echte Unterschiede bei den Netzwerkeinstellungen, sie wurden jedoch für Domänen entwickelt.


    Wenn der Laptop ohne Benutzerdaten neu ist, können Sie eine Neuinstallation von Win10 mit Ihrem OEM-Schlüssel neu installieren. Dies würde die Dell-Add-Ons bereinigen.


    Dies ist nur ein Gedanke. Viele ehemalige Windows-Administratoren installieren Win10 auf neuen OEM-PCs neu, nur um den zusätzlichen Junk zu entfernen.
