SystemRescueCD ???

  • Reading the forum about the backup I often came across the phrase "Boot SystemRescueCD - if you installed the iso from omv-extras, it will be in your menu grub."
    I can not understand.
    Is there a plugin to mount an ISO? What is it and where?

    Thanks in advance for your help. :thumbup:

    omv-extras has an option to download the systemrescuecd ISO in the kernel tab (you won't see this if your device is an arm device). It will add entry to grub menu to boot from that iso. The notes in that tab try to describe this.

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.5 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.11 | compose 7.1.3 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0 | mergerfs 7.0.3

    omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs

    Fount it, thank you.
    Another clarification.
    After installing the ISO, what is the application that starts by default? The ISO or OMV?

    OMV. That is why the button to boot systemrescuecd once is there. If you change the Installed Kernels dropdown (at the top of the tab) to systemrescuecd then it will boot systemrescuecd every time.
