Hi all,
Short: I want to mount another OMV NAS to my first OMV NAS, but how?
The long version:
I successfully run 4 OMV NAS systems. Unfortunately storage is limited and always switching between the 4 instances is kind of a pain. The idea now is to have my Sardaukar instance declared as the major NAS and to mount the typical SMB/CIFS shares from the remaining three NAS - running Fedaykin - into the corresponding shares in my major NAS.
Should look kind of like this pretty ASCI 'picture':
Code
NAS #1 (Sardaukar)
|
|_ Share "Movies"
|_Shared_Folder_Movies_From_NAS#2
|_Shared_Folder_Movies_From_NAS#3
|_Shared_Folder_Movies_From_NAS#4
|_and so on...
I hope the idea is clear. The problem now is that I don't know how to do it properly. Is creating a "vanilla" Linux mount wihtin the respective folders the right way or is there a better, OMV typical way of solving this?
I appreciate any hints
