I've watched this thread and this is craziest thing. I've never seen it. Watching because I want to know what is causing this.

Thanks David
I will wait. -
Have you tried uploading a large file via FTP to any other ftp servers?
-
no, i didn't try that.
I only downloaded an 12GB File from an other FTP. And that worked fineOne more stupid question.
I think i made an newbie mistake and run the whole System over an DHCP IP.
Could that be an Problem ?
I changed it to static now.Code
Alles anzeigen# The loopback network interface auto lo iface lo inet loopback iface lo inet6 loopback # eth0 network interface auto eth0 allow-hotplug eth0 iface eth0 inet static address 192.168.2.2 gateway 192.168.2.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 dns-nameservers 192.168.2.1 8.8.8.8 pre-down ethtool -s $IFACE wol g pre-up ethtool -s $IFACE speed 1000 iface eth0 inet6 manual pre-down ip -6 addr flush dev eth0
-
This should not cause this issue.
Greetings
David -
I would think the static ip would change anything.
Did the download take longer than 600 seconds?
-
Great guys !!
Don't hit me, but the LAN works fine with the static, i also can update the OMV over WAN.
But when i trie to connect over WAN to the WEBGUI with https that doesen't work.ryecoaaron
Yes the 12GB File loaded for about 4 Days with 40kbit/s -
Oh. 4 days, huh. I'm out of suggestions...
Did you open the port in your firewall? Port 443?
-
Yes the port is open in the firewall
-
Are you using port forwarding and that port is forwarded to the old IP? Can you connect locally via https?
-
Yes i use the port forwarding. I can not say where the forward goes to. i have only the option to say forwarding, redirecting or triggering.
Over LAN there is no Problem with the https webgui -
It might still be trying to forward to the old IP then. What firewall/router?
-
The Router is an Speedport W723V (i think you get this only in Germany). Don't know if there is an other one witch is build simmilary maybe from AMV.
Edit: Thanks for your help
-
Can't find much about that router but you need to specify an address when forwarding a port.
-
As long as the initial connection and download works there can't be anything wrong with his port forwarding setup!

His connection from the internet to OMV via https hasn't worked since he changed to static IP though. -
Nevermind :?
Greetings
David -
ryecoaaron you are right.
But my hope is that when i solved the problem with the static IP that the FTP will also work fine.I tried different things.
Other IP's,other subnetmasks, etc...
But my server is not abel to connect with the internet.
It is possible to run updates over the WebGui, but all Serversystems like FTP, connection to the WEBGUI over WAN etc. are impossible.
There is no connection. So in general there is an internet connection, otherwise it shuold not be possible to reun the updates.
As you can see my PC is also in the internet, so what can be the reason that the other systems are down ?If you need some informations from the logs ore other ones please tell me.
I am glad for everyone who whants to help.
