Upgrade Problem found [no longer 64bit]

  • I am facing a problem with my system after i have upgraded from 4.38 to 5.12. the problem is that my system went from 64bit system to 32bit system and now my 4gig of RAM is only seen as 3 gig..

any ideas how i can fix this without re-installing the entire system and keeping my working config?

Not sure if i mistakenly installed the 32bit  but i am sure i was able to get 4 gig of ram to come up with omv...

in any case, any way to go from a 32bit to 64bit without any damage

I would say it's HIGHLY likely you installed 32bit vs 64bit.

There's no way to go from 32 to 64bit, follow tekkebe's advise and disconnect your data drives, and do a clean install of the 64bit OS.
