You need to uninstall the cups plugin. As root:
    apt-get remove --purge openmediavault-cups

    Then try:
    apt-get update

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

omv-extras.org plugins source code and issue tracker - github - changelogs

Did you enable the dotdeb repo and then disable it?

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

  • Zitat von "tekkbebe"

Did you enable the dotdeb repo??

    yes

    Zitat

    in the web-gui omv-extras?

    yes

    Zitat

Did you enable the dotdeb repo and then disable it?

    yes

    omv 0.5.21 sardaukar - 64 bit - 3.2 backport kernel - OMV-Extras 0.5.23

  • disable the dotdeb repo in the web-gui and then in command line:

    apt-get update
    apt-get remove php5-cgi
    apt-get remove php5-cli
    apt-get remove php5-common
    apt-get install php5-cgi php5-cli php5-common

    Then try to install openmediavault-mysql

  • this will remove all the plugins:

then save the settings as a plugin?

    omv 0.5.21 sardaukar - 64 bit - 3.2 backport kernel - OMV-Extras 0.5.23

  • after apt-get update do this instead:

    apt-get install --reinstall php5-cgi
    apt-get isntall --reinstall php5-cli
    apt-get instal --reinstall php5-common

See if this wil replace the dotdebs. If this runs ok give me results of this again:

    dpkg -l | grep php5

  • and

    Code
    root@openmediavault:~# dpkg -l | grep php5
    ii php5-cgi 5.4.21-1~dotdeb.0 server-side, HTML-embedded scripting language (CGI binary)

Just out of curiosity, why did you enable the experimental dotdeb repo?

To downgrade php, you will probably have to download each package and dpkg install them.

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

  • Ryeco, if he downgrades it via apt it will uninstall all the stuff listed before??? yes? You got any ideas?

So a dpkg -i will replace the existing even if it is downgrading it? I never had this problem in Debian.
