Update Manager Error 0.5.33

getting the following error within the update manager and if I use "apt-get update" in ssh

E: Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I have used dpkg to reinstall 0.5.33 after removing the omv-extras plugin. Any help is appreciated.

You repo seems wrong. I give you what it should be. Just a sec..

/etc/apt/sources.list.d/openmediavault.list

Then:
apt-get update

fixem2: disable the proposed repo under system | update | settings

Your updates will then start to work again.

It has to. It trys to reach out for sardaukar-proposed which is still an empty repo.

I don't know why Volker put that there before it is active. It is causing problems.

All he needs to do is add a package. It could be the same version that is in other repos and then there would be no error.

Thanks guys! The pre-release repo was checked and now it works and shows an update to 0.5.34.

Why so many users want to have pre-releases? (besides the fact that sardaukar-proposed is not meant to be pre-release)?

How high does somebody have to hold a sign "CAN BREAK YOUR SYSTEM. DO NOT USE IT IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS!"
