The subject pretty much says it all. I've tried checking and unchecking the enable button and restarting server.
Should I reinstall plex? Will i lose all my meta data and box art?

I assume it was running at some point? Did you install plex with the plugin? What is the output of the following:
service plexmediaserver status
service plexmediaserver start
service plexmediaserver status
Yeah it was working food for a ~week.
root@System:~# service plexmediaserver status
exec: 129: status: not found
root@System:~# service plexmediaserver start
exec: 129: start: not found
root@System:~# service plexmediaserver status
exec: 129: status: not found
Try this:
/etc/init.d/plexmediaserver start
hmmm. no dice. still same thing
Change directory to where your plexmediaserver is located and do a stat command on the folder:
stat plexmediaserver
Give the results here. Did you do anything odd before this happened?
i think i figured out why it isnt working. yesterday i had problems with my raid configuration. I managed to resync the configuration but now im seeing errors about inconsistencies in file systems and things of this nature. I will provide more info + screenshots later, I got to jet to a job interview now. I think i have some corruption in my file system which might explain why plex isnt working.
this is what im getting on boot now: (excuse the shitty screen snap)

im guessing this is the underlying problem
