File system won't mount

Hello guys, I came home today to find out I could not access any of my shared folders via windows, I logged in to OMV web gui and noticed my File system somehow got unmounted, Every time I try to mount it, i get this error. could anyone help me how do i fix this.

Did you try rebooting? Were you trying to mount again in the web-gui? You should not do that because the filesystem once mounted should already be in the /etc/fstab file.

Yes I did try a reboot, I am also trying to mount it from the gui. Any guidance on what I could do via SSH if need be?

Give results of:

blkid

When you know you have mounted a filesystem before and it is in fstab you should use this to try to remount it:

mount -a

Ok thanks for helping me along, I have input this command in ssh

mount -a

It is a degraded raid array. How many disks are in it?

Give output of these commands..

cat /proc/mdstat
fdisk -l
cat /etc/fstab

You will not be able to mount it til you cleanup the raid.

WOW perfect... worked great, i guess i will back up my data, and change the File system, i guess XFS is crap from reading the post in the guides

Never had an issue with xfs myself. Redhat just made it the default filesystem for Redhat Enterprise Linux 7 as well...

No problems with XFS either, on all systems that I happen to manage.
