error when adding share to ftp (v.6)

Hi all,

I am setting up my ftp service in v.6 of OMV.

when i set up the service settings everything is fine, as soon as i add a shared folder and press apply i get the following message.

am i doing something wrong or is this a bug ?

Change directory one leve above the shared folder and do stat command using the name your shared folder. Give results.

sorry to push, but does anyone have any ideas on this one... i have now tried removing the proftp service and reinstalling it via the openmediavault package ... guess what ... same outcome as above.

not sure what to do now as the FTP service is pretty important!

Remove the file /var/lib/openmediavault/fstab_tasks.json. The problem currently occurs because of unknown behaviour. Issue is known but not identified and solved at the moment.
