The old poll didn't transfer from the old forum. So, lets start a new one :) Zoneminder is being worked on. I'm not adding php based options because most can be added with the nginx plugin. Post other suggestions.

Well, Hubic.com plugin would be nice. Because 10Tb for 10€ is a pretty good cloud backup solution

Why pay ten bucks if you can have unlimited space for just five dollars?

    backblaze.com

Okay... the last time I checked they didn't support servers yet... but if you so a second backup from your PC they are awesome.

Don't we have a fail2ban plugin? Does it just need to be ported to Wheezy?

It is very incomplete (rpc, mkconf, and web interface are barely started).

Hubic is in France, Backblaze is in the States. Some words too use MetaGer :) on: FISA, NSA, Bullrun, Prism and some others.

BTW: Who will upload 10 TB via Standard-DSL (1 MBit up)? 10 TB = 2 Years, 195 Days, 22 Hours , 13 Minutes und 20 Seconds. Or do you want to send some HDDs to them?

Better buy another NAS for OMV, backup all data to the new NAS, open a "Serverroom" :D in your parents flat and connect both via VPN.

Okay. Seems like its time to build my own Company with a similiar theming... located in switzerland.

    Oh and:

If you are in the position to need to backup that much data, then its out of the question... aside from that backblaze is awesome solution, and I'm still thinking to use it myself as I'm a backup slut sometimes.

I feel like you 'owned' yourself by that suggestion - how does that work with DSL 1MBit? ^^

Better take a 50m network cable and throw one end to your network, the other one to your neighbours. Then you have a decentralized backup solution. 8)

Well I did not plan to transfer 10Tb in once, but since I've been refused to borrow 1.000.000€ from the bank to install a multimode optical fiber between my house and my best friends flat (2km), I stated to consider Hubic.

I'm also interested in it because hubic is OVH, a company established all around Europe and USA. So in case of legal issue, I can cease the French commercial court. With USA based company, they will gently urge me to f**ck myself with a bottle of (diet?)coke.

Any way, a plugin will be nice, for the moment i'm manually launching the synch using putty and the hubic script.

I've seen in the unstable plugin a SSH from the webgui, which can prevent me using putty. Since unstable freaks me out, did someone use it on a daily basis ?

Negative, Sir! Watch the order! :)
    1. Backup all data to the new NAS!
    2. Open a Serverroom in your parents flat!
Initial backup has to be made inhouse. Than only the new files are going over the wire.
