forked-daapd taking lots of CPU.

    Hi,


    Anyone seen this behaviour?


    944 daapd 20 0 234m 9.8m 4128 S 81.1 0.1 25:02.93 forked-daapd


    81.1% CPU while not even using it, is that maybe an index or something that is running?


    When i disable and enable it again i see this straight after the enable


    2805 daapd 20 0 223m 6580 2492 S 6.2 0.1 0:01.88 forked-daapd


    6.2%


    Huge difference, then 30 seconds later :(


    12805 daapd 20 0 231m 8624 3392 S 49.9 0.1 0:11.04 forked-daapd


    49.9%


    and then it goes down again after a minute, what is this daemon doing while i am not connecting to it?

    You can take a look at the forked-daapd logs to see what's you find. Unfortunately the omv webui doesn't provide access to daapd logs. They are located at /var/log/forked-daapd.log. You can use the extplorer plugin to browse to the location and dump those logs to you PC and examine them.
