No GUI after install openmediavault-transmissionbt

      2. Stopping bittorrent daemon: transmission-daemon.
      3. root@CEREBELLUM:~# mv /etc/default/transmission-daemon /etc/default/transmission-daemon.bk
      4. root@CEREBELLUM:~# omv-mkconf transmissionbt
      5. root@CEREBELLUM:~# /etc/init.d/transmission-daemon start
      6. Starting bittorrent daemon: transmission-daemon (disabled) (warning).
      7. root@CEREBELLUM:~#

      The way I see it remains the only full reinstall
    • Show the output of stat /etc/transmission-daemon/ and /var/lib/transmission-daemon/info

    • I'm sorry, but why are you suggesting starting and stopping transmission when the GUI isn't working after installing the plugin? When the GUI doesn't work, start by debugging the frontend.
      • Open the web developer tools and open the console. Reload the page. Does it indicate any errors (different browser give different outputs which help)?
      • Try doing the same with the network tab, any page displaying any error code >= 400?
      • Run the RPC in debug mode omv-engined -d -f, don't forget to stop the service first. Try to reload the page and see if anything interesting shows up in the terminal.
    • Pardon HK-47, I overlooked that it isn't showing up in GUI and focused on the CLI output I saw, which suggests that there are permission problems.
