Got Failed to mount '/media... Error #6000: (upgrade to 1.0 solved the original issue but created a new one )

  • 1. Executed omv-mkconf monit
    2. Executed service monit restart got the same localhosr error:

    Code
    Stopping daemon monitor: monit.
Starting daemon monitor: monit/etc/monit/conf.d/openmediavault-system.conf:1: Error: service name conflict, localhost already defined 'localhost'
     failed!
  • Let me dig a bit into the code to look how the config is rebuild.

  • 1. the output of cat /usr/share/openmediavault/mkconf/monit.d/system

  • That seems all to be fine. I'll report it to Volker to have him take a look at it.

  • Thank you Volker that did the trick. but now I have a new error:
    1. I've created new share and after apply changes I'm getting the following:

This is the output of cat /etc/fstab

and this is the output of cat /etc/mtab

  • this is the output of cat /var/lib/openmediavault/fstab_tasks.json

    Code
    [

    ]

    and this is the output of xmlstarlet sel -t -m /config/system/fstab/mntent -c . /etc/openmediavault/config.xml

  • OK so I've added <hidden>0</hidden> and now it look like this:
    xmlstarlet sel -t -m /config/system/fstab/mntent -c . /etc/openmediavault/config.xml:

    EXECUTED omv-mkconf fstab
added new share under NFS in GUI and got the same error:

  • Guys any thoughts?
it seems that /media/6cc61a20-de23-4289-bb8f-847173010904/NAS does not exsist.
I have my old config.XML before all the changes i can upload it here if it will help.

  • this is the output of : blkid

  • OK. So I've created NAS folder manually under /media/6cc61a20-de23-4289-bb8f-847173010904 and tried to create another share. now I'm getting different error.

So I' rebooted the machine and found the same error in my boot log:

    See line 17-37

Your /etc/fstab seems to have an entry to a NTFS device that does not exist anymore. The blkid output does not show it.
