omv-plugins.org is no longer an active repo. If you want a pre-made image for the RPi, look here

I linked to an entire Raspbian image with OpenMediaVault pre-installed.

If you want to install the third party plugin repo (omv-extras), follow this for OMV 1.0. If you don't have OMV 1.0 installed, I highly recommend you use the pre-made image.

  • I would suggest you to reinstall the prepped image from ryecoaaron instead of trying to fix your current installation.

+ I used being a raspbian. So unzip the image file can not be due to lack of capacity
Please let me know that you can install on the console method OMV

This is why I made the RPi image...

Put the SD card in another machine and write the image (extract it first) I linked to the sd card. If you are using Windows, win32diskimager will work.

You just have too many things going wrong and it is difficult to figure out. Writing the pre-made image to the sd card would save everyone a lot of time. Is there a reason you cannot write the image?

  • 1. OS can not format the SDcard is not currently installed in my possession.
    2. Must a school assignment because the installation process for the seminar
    3. I think that spending more expert Linux console like (I refuse to yield to console).
    4. I hope the developers. I think the time to study it from you.

    Are those the reason.

    Problem is already impossible.
Buy a new SDcard, or did you get the school to allow the installation Image how you would be correct?

If you want to install OMV on Debian Wheezy, practice in a virtual machine on Virtualbox. Starting with the RPi is not what I would suggest for beginners.

If you can start with a fresh Raspbian image, do the following to install OMV:

    omv 7.0.5-1 sandworm | 64 bit | 6.8 proxmox kernel

    plugins :: omvextrasorg 7.0 | kvm 7.0.13 | compose 7.1.4 | k8s 7.1.0-3 | cputemp 7.0.1 | mergerfs 7.0.4

  • I'll try the method you gave.
Buy a new RPI.I will tell you the results after trying.
(If not, perhaps try that method, install the image.)

  • I also made sure that the connection to the default page haetdeoni installation image to install well and safely.
(Advice that you told me to be effective)

But was wondering, do you not have installed by default xwindow?
(the command startx command is not), so I try to install the package, we have a problem xwindow figured.
gnome package not installed (even though fresh raspbian)
xwindow environment because this is not captured.

There is only instructions for managing ever raspbian the OMV?
If so, it gave me a fatal problem.
Please let me know how to use all the features of the existing raspbian.
