Yeah,
as mentioned above: Is there a way to download podcasts to my OMV-NAS?
I wasn't successful in finding a solution... :-/
Thank you for your help!

Subsonic has that feature, I did use it for a while to download BBC 5 lives Saturday football phone show, being subsonic I could then listen to it on my way home from work (when I worked Saturdays)
jhmiller - thank you for your reply.
I found Subsonic as a possible solution as well while searching more in the web. And now I found out it is as well available in the Extras - I will definitely give it a try!
Edit: Ok, I installed the OMV-extras plugin as explained here:
http://omv-extras.org/simple/i…install-omv-extras-plugin
Many of the stable addons appear - but there is no Subsonic plugin. What did I do wrong?
Edit2: Now I know: I had to activate the "Download Managers" in the OMV-Extras.org-tab.
So I started playing around with Subsonic but alreday have problems telling Subsonic where my music is
It is stored on my NAS in folder media/music - can anybody help me by telling the correct link I have to put here: http://www.subsonic.org/pages/getting-started.jsp
I don't use subsonic, but i guess is /media/UUID/media/music/, you'll have to replace the UUID for the one used in your mounted drive. That UUID info can be viewed at system information section, report tab. There is a text section there that says "File system disk space usage"
You should see something like this
Yeah, that was the hint I needed - thank you very much!
One step closer in understanding Subsonic..
