Hi,
My question is in the thread title. I installed virtualbox but it doesn't give me any choices of 64 bits OS when I create a VM.
Is it normal?
VirtualBox - I can only install 32 bits OS?

If you are using a CPU that isn't 64 bit capable, that is normal.

My CPU is 64 bits. Q6600

I've had this issue for ages, never been able to figure it out to be truthful. It never really bothered me (since I generally just use it for testing), so I just went with it. You might try VMware, see if that works a bit better for you.

Damn, I'm so dumb! I forgot to enable the Intel VT in my BIOS.
Sorry about the useless thread. -

Same Problem occurs, when you have 2 virtualisation solutions installed.
In my case: Had Hyper-V installed. Installed additionally Virtualbox.
32 Bit VMs only in Virtualbox...
Uninstalled Hyper-V role --> Virtualbox is offering 64 bit, too...HTH
