I've just started using OMV and at the moment have it as a VM running on flash drive on a HP n36l Microserver. The server is running Server 2008R2 with Hyper V role and I have two 1TB disks that have been made offline and added to the VM as IDE disks as OMV (or freeNAS) doesn't recognise the Hyper V SCSI controller.
My problem is that the disks show up as Virtual HD's (along with a third which I assume is the flash disk) with a capacity of 127.50GB, even the 4GB flash drive. I've ran fdisk and gdisk from the console and removed the partitions, create new partitions, verified the disks and wrote the config to disk but still get the wrong capacity.
I don't think this is a limitation of hyper v's ide controller because in freeNAS the disks show up as something like 937GB.
Any ideas?
