Problems sending notifications (using Gmail) [SOLVED]

    Seeing this in the syslog messages whenever I send a test message.


    Dec 1 07:39:00 OMV postfix/error[18125]: A76226227E: to=<my_address@gmail.com>, relay=none, delay=332230, delays=331629/601/0/0.1, dsn=4.4.2, status=deferred (delivery temporarily suspended: conversation with smtp.gmail.com[64.233.160.108] timed out while receiving the initial server greeting)


    Checked the firewall and there are no blocks/drops associated with OMV. Any 'gotchas' with getting this working?

    Got it working.
    Apparently, you have to use port 587 instead of 465. Weird.
    Then had to go through the process of setting up a special app password for OMV to use. New to me. :) But it's working now.

    Did you use two-factor authentication on your Gmail?
    I didn't, but still can't get the email notifications to work on port 587 or 465.
