driver issue? backports kernel? OMV extras?

    Any idea?

    thanks in advance

What system and type of media is OMV installed on? The backports kernel might help but moving to OMV 1.x would be better.

You don't list what OMV is installed on? or is it installed on the raid array?

Have you run memtest from a bootable image like systemrescuecd instead of from within Linux?

  • I did not installed OMV myself in fact

I guess OMV is installed on the raid array

How can I quickly check on which support has been installed OMV?

I did not run memtest from live-cd or anything else

    just:

    memtester 7500 1 # test 7500MB in one iteration

    from Linux shell

I got no error but it is true that memtester does not test all sectors

difficult for me to stop OMV which is already used by open nebula

Do you think I must repeat the control with memtest?

OMV is installed as a virtual machine?

It is definitely worth a try since everything is newer (uses Debian Wheezy).

  • here is the OS we are using:

    Distributor ID: Debian
    Description: Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.8 (squeeze)
    Release: 6.0.8
    Codename: squeeze

Can we continue and upgrade without hesitation?

  • From what I read you're using the system in a working environent? To protect you against uograde problems I would clone the OS disk (if there is a dedicated one) to be able to restore it if the upgrade process gives you any hassle.
