    • Network autoconfiguration failed

      Hello,

I'm trying to install OpenMediaVault and during "Configuring the network with DHCP" I'm getting this error:

      Network autoconfiguration failed

Your network is probably not using the DHCP protocol. Alternatively,
the DHCP server may be slow or some network hardware is not working
      properly.

I'm using a Lenovo TS140, am on Comcast internt, and am using a Linksys E2000 router. Any help is appreciated!

      Thanks,

    • I unplugged the modem
      I unplugged the router

      waited 1 minute

      plugged the modem back in

      waited 1 minute

      plugged the router back in

      DHCP success.

I have no idea why that was an issue, but it was. Setting this thread to resolved.

      Thanks,
