Gibt es irgendwo ein Image mit Openmediavault für den Cubietruck ?
Der Cubietruck macht dafür mehr Sinn als der Raspberry Pi

No, there is no image for the cubietruck. While it may make more sense the RPi, it is not as common. If you send me a cubietruck, I will make an image
If you find a Debian Wheezy image for the cubietruck, it wouldn't be hard to install OMV. -

I would only put the /boot partition on the nand but not the rootfs.
Why not on the NAND?
It's a single-purpose device running as a NAS -
Because the nand is irreplaceable and I was once told (I'm not sure if it was this particular device), that if the nand is toast the device is toast too.
There is a reason we don't suggest flash media for OS installations, they just wear off way too fast!
So, take our advice and do not risk to permanently damage your device and put the rootfs on a external HDD.
