omv-mkconf plexmediaserver: Plex Media Server is not running

I'm also getting this with PlexMediaServer (some others are too, looking at the forums).

Here's the error for reference, which may be similar:

To answer your question, I was trying to enable the plex plugin and apply changes. Got the same problem with the sickbeard plugin.

I moved it to a new thread because it didn't belong in the thread you posted in.

I would try uninstalling the plugins and reinstalling.

Oh, apologies for that. I was continuing in that thread as it appeared to be same error I was getting for a plugin that did belong in that thread (sb).

I have uninstalled and reinstalled them several times, with reboots in case it helps, to see if it would fix the issue, but unfortunately it didn't.

I managed to start plex manually (service plexmediaserver start) but the problem is still there in the omv gui, along with sickbeard which i cant enable due to the same reason.

I would try stopping plex service plexmediaserver stop and make sure it isn't running (use ps aux | grep plex to check) when you try to enable it again. If you have an existing database in the location you are trying to choose, you may have to move or delete it.

I was about to say it didn't work, because I tried that already...but it worked! You must have that magic touch!

Tried it for SickBeard as well (thought I'd be lucky) but still the same problem, and I made sure the service was stopped. In case you can spot anything different:

That is a different issue with sickbeard. I just put a new version in the repo. Maybe it will fix it.
