Hi,

As far as I know, the default behavior for the plex database and config files, is /media/some-uuid/plexmediaserver (that's where mine is). Just took a look at the OMV webUI, and it doesn't appear it lets you change it. It defaults to the directory I just mentioned... moving it will probably prove unsuccessful, as the plugin will likely just recreate that directory and put everything back there again.
Exaclty.
That is why i'm searching for the config file where the path is stored.
Also in the WebGui it is not possible to write a path by my own.
So where is the path stored?
I was think it will be in the start script but there isn't it.
Any Ideas.
BR Robert
Just found something in the this file:
/etc/openmediavault/config.xml
<plexmediaserver>
<enable>1</enable>
<db-folder>/media/1d9ee055-2a40-426c-8d0b-7c8988608a85/plexmediaserver</db-folder>
<mntentref>a3b605f4-cd1d-42af-ba96-0993b8746728</mntentref>
<showtab>0</showtab>
</plexmediaserver>
Should it be so easy?
BR Robert
Okay it is not so easy.
After you clicking activate on the webgui the standard path is back.
But if you change the path again in the config.xml before you push apply in the webgui it's working.
Did not test if plex is now using the write folder.
Try it later and will post the result.
BR Robert
Looks like the path is working.
But i'm not sure if the setting will work after an restart.
@Developers
Is there a solution to set the path?
Where is the webgui getting the datas for the path?
Cheers Robert
It is hard coded throughout plugin. Why do you want it in a subfolder?
I want to have the data from the Plugins in an central folder.
Dont want to have several Folders for each Plugins on the Drive.
