  • Hi,

    I'm facing the same problem...I've disabled APM and spindown, but my drives a spinning down right after any transfere.
    In addition I see them spinning up every 30min - at the same time I see the following syslog entry:

    Date 13:55:01 USR/SBIN/CRON[23054]: (root) CMD (command -v debian-sa1 > /dev/null && debian-sa1 1 1
    ...
    Date 13:25:01 USR/SBIN/CRON[23054]: (root) CMD (command -v debian-sa1 > /dev/null && debian-sa1 1 1

    Have you solved your problem already - any help you can provide?

    Thanks - regards,
    Roland
