Checking for updates gives an error

Failed to execute command 'export LANG=C; apt-get update 2>&1': Ign file: Release.gpg Ign file: Release Err file: Packages File not found

at the end of the output it says:

W: Failed to fetch file:/var/cache/openmediavault/archives/Packages File not found

This doesn't prevent new packages from showing up and is a minor issue to me, I just thought it might be useful to report.

Use the apt-clean button in omvextras tab

Thanks. I'd done an apt-get clean at the cli but that button seems to have solved it!

Something is removing the local openmediavault packages file and doesn't replace it. The apt clean button in omv-extras replaces it

I have a very similar issue and did try Apt Clean from the web GUI, unfortunately the problem persists.

Apt Clean was the solution for this specific error. If you have even a slightly different error, it may not work (as you found). What was your error?

Disable the vpn repo until we can add a file to that repo to create the packages file.
