problems to create clean RAID 1

Hi there,

if I try to create a RAID 1, omv automatically creates two RAIDs.
One /dev/md0 is flapping between clean and active after synching - 1.82 TB
the other /dev/md0p4 has always the state false - 287,07 GB.

Both 2 TB disks have first been partitioned with parted - didn't work
disk model - WDC WD20EARX-00P
inserted /dev/sda and /dev/sdb

Afterwards I erased MBR and partitiontable with
dd if=/dev/zero count=1000 bs=512 of=/dev/sda - didn't work as well.

I'm even able to create a filesystem with ext4 on the clean /active part - 1,79 TB.

Can someone give me instructions, pls?
