OMV stops responding at about 24:00

In the morning I can ping the machine, but that is all I can do.
I have to manually restart the machine.
System status windows are filled until approximately 24:00
How can I locate the cause of error (logs, ...?) At the moment
my system (Asrock ION HT) is not really usable

Hmm, i even can't upgrade the system at the moment. If I run check for updates I get:

Thanks. I've successfully upgraded the system. I'll test it without upgrading the kernel tonight. If it fails i'll upgrade the kernel tomorow and test again...

Hmmm,nothing changed after installing new kernel. Still the status graphs stop at 24:00 next step would be...?

I just did and RAM seems OK. I'll leave machine running with Mint Live tonight to see what happens...

It's a brand new 1 TB Samsung 2.5' drive with system and data partition. (I found a tutorial on how to do it somewhere some time ago...)

No, mint is running from usb stick. What exatcly do you mean by dmesg?

Hmm, i 've just changed the HDD because the previous one had some SMART errors. If i don't solve the problem in the following few days, I'm considering a reinstall. Can I use the other data drive (sdb) as it is? Is there a tutorial for such an "upgrade" (if i choose v 2..*)?

At the moment i have two hdds (1TB and 2TB) On the first one I have two partitions (system and data) the second is main "nas" drive (has one partition). The idea is to rsync just the important data between data and nas partitions.
So if i reinstall the system i would probably loose the data on the first drive - the question is- can i still use the second drive as it is? Nothing is encrypted at the moment.

Sorry if i was not clear-i would reinstall OMV on the first drive(system partition). The second drive remains the data drive and i would like to use it as IT is. Is that possible?
