    Hi - just trying to move my SONOS music directory to OMV. Have updated the "Music" folder and now need to add OMV to SONOS. I've tried \\openmediavault.local\Music and various combinations but to no avail. Is the path in the right format/correct and is there anything on OMV that I need to do such as permissioning SONOS to read the Music drive? thanks in advance!!!!

    In my Sonos settings I have my path set as \\HOMESERVER\nas\Audio


    HOMSERVER being the name of the server, nas being a cifs(samba) share and Audio is a subfolder in the share.

    I am not sure what I need to supply re the SONOS set up. The SONOS help had no idea - they think that the permissions are somehow not set correctly on the NAS. Is that possible?

    Is OMV now working with Sonos ?


    Are you using a USB 3 SSD or a conventional hard drive ?
